What is Non-Emergency Medical Transportation?

Non-Emergency transportation is available by ambulette providers like TWCA. It is a form of medical transport for non-emergency situations, provided to people who do not require immediate medical attention from a EMT, doctor or nurse, non-Emergency transportation. Non-emergency transportation is a safe and comfortable way to travel without having to transfer from your wheelchair, stretcher, oxygen tank or any other apparatus.

Can you accommodate more than one wheelchair bound passenger?

Yes. We can accomodate up to 2 wheelchair bound passengers per van.

Do you provide long distance transportation?

Yes. You can request a trip to any area within continental US through private pay. Please call us and we'll be happy to provide a quote. If the travel time is longer than 12 hours, we provide two drivers for additional assistance.

I am an overweight person. Is there a weight limit for the service?

Yes. Our hydraulic lifts have a rating capacity of no more then 650 lbs.

I don't have a wheelchair. Can you provide one?

Yes. All types of wheelchairs are available for your comfort.

I live on a high floor and my building has no elevator. Can you carry me up and down?

Yes. We will have to provide two or more operators to carry the patient down safely. If this is your case, please call us to request more than one operator.

If I need transport right now can you help?

Not always. Please keep in mind that we are a non-emergency service. We will try to dispatch your call ASAP, however we suggest you schedule your reservation as early to assure timely service.

I have a family member who is handicapped. Can I travel with them in the same vehicle?

Yes. Our vans can accommodate up to 7 ambulatory (non wheelchair) passengers in addition to a wheelchair.
